Specialist Programmes
At The Connect Youth Network (UK), our specialist programmes are designed to provide focused and tailored support to young people who face additional challenges. We understand that some young individuals require more personalised guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to overcome barriers and build stable, independent futures.
Through our targeted initiatives, we aim to create supportive environments where young people can develop confidence, strengthen resilience, and access opportunities that empower them to move forward positively.
Who We Support
Young People in Care & Care Leavers
Young people in care or transitioning out of the care system often face unique challenges as they prepare for adulthood. Our programmes provide structured guidance, mentoring, and practical support to help them build independence, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop the life skills needed to navigate education, employment, and everyday responsibilities with confidence.
Unaccompanied Minors
We support refugee and asylum-seeking young people who arrive in the UK without family support. Our programmes aim to promote stability, belonging, and integration, helping young people access education, develop social connections, and feel supported within their new communities. All services are delivered with strong cultural sensitivity and safeguarding, ensuring that young people feel respected, safe, and empowered.
Young People Experiencing Social Isolation or Disadvantage
For young people facing economic hardship, exclusion, or limited access to opportunities, our programmes create inclusive spaces that encourage connection, confidence, and personal growth. Through structured activities and supportive engagement, we help young people rebuild self-belief, develop positive relationships, and explore pathways toward education, training, and future opportunities.
Mentoring & Peer Support Initiatives
Positive relationships and strong support networks play a vital role in young people’s development. Our mentoring and peer-support initiatives provide safe and encouraging spaces where young people can connect with role models and peers who support their personal growth.
These programmes include:
* One-to-one mentoring
* Group mentoring sessions
* Peer-support circles
* Leadership and personal development opportunities
Through these initiatives, we aim to foster trust, belonging, confidence, and long-term personal development, helping young people feel empowered to shape their futures.
