Safeguarding Commitment
The Connect Youth Network (UK) places the safety and wellbeing of young people at the centre of all activities.
We operate in accordance with Charity Commission safeguarding guidance and maintain appropriate procedures to protect young people, volunteers, and staff.
How Concerns Are Reported
If a safeguarding concern arises, it is important that it is reported promptly and handled appropriately.
Concerns can be reported by:
Speaking directly to a staff member or programme leader
Contacting the organisation through our official communication channels
Reporting serious concerns to the relevant safeguarding authorities where necessary
All safeguarding concerns are treated confidentially and investigated in line with safeguarding procedures. Our priority is always the safety and protection of the young person involved.
